Well that would be kinda hard to do and wouldn't be possible by just getting a dash kit anyways

You can buy a 2002 display module and put it into your 2003 or 2004.
The connectors are the same; the 2003 dash worked on my 2002, so I don't see why it wouldn't work the other way.

There's been some cheap gauge clusters for the Aerio on eBay lately. Might want to buy one and try it out. Or buy one from a salvage yard. You'd be the test monkey

Personally, I'd like to just convert the outside temperature sensor for that purpose. Honestly, I don't care how hot it is out there 'cause I'm blastin' my A/C on the inside :P and I'd imagine it's only as involved as relocating/extending the existing sensor to an appropriate place (where it hopefully won't melt, of course... heh)

that would be cool to have the engine temp on that display.

By the way...

Postby Cyberdelic » Thu Jun 16, 2005 11:46 am

ma-bo,

Can you post some pics of the different colors actually in use? When I first saw it, for example, I couldn't tell if it was *supposed* to be showing 188mph and full-rpm or if it's just bad lighting or whatever... Obviously, if I can't distinctly tell what mph I'm going in the daytime, looking neat probably isn't worth it to me... I believe early on you had some movie clips of one of the colors in use, but just a few snapshots of the final product in the various colors in both daylight and at night would really help out, I think.

Even if it's a little washed out in the day, though, I'll probably still get one of these off 'ya.

Thanks.
