Side Clear Marker (Replaces Aerio Badge)

1 for $5, or 4 for $20! Or ... you know. Quantity discounts. What would you like to see as a group buy? The more requests we get, the more likely a GB will be to take place. No Mr. Bills please!

Assuming that I get the correct quantity in the box, this should be a pretty good deal. Taobao Direct just emailed me that the order is ready to be shipped to me from China, at a better price than they had originally quoted me.

The total to me should be $113.01 so each set would cost $11.30.
Plus Shipping of around $5.00 by USPS should yield a total of $16.30 per set.

There should be 9 sets for the asking (I want one for myself of course)
First come first serve!

Side markers are here!
There is a small fee with Paypal, I'm going to ask for $17 Even for them, (I'm going to end up coughing up about 7 cents per set this way (which is OK)

7 Sets are up in the air, two are spoken for

To clarify:

I have 20 individual markers

$17 will get you 2 of them SHIPPED in the US

4 sets are spoken for or gone, so there are still 6 available!

There is no wiring harness in place, and these would have to be wired (pigtailed) into the turn signal at the front. I'm thinking of soldering them in place and filling the void with some silicone caulk.

After you connect them, you'll definitely need to fill up the connection area with some RTV or something. I went through two sets of these before I got them adequately sealed, they'd fill with water and turn brown in about six months.

You don't happen to have any PICS of your install do you?
how did you tap into the headlight/flasher wiring, did you solder in the wires or use a squeeze fit splice connector?
And did you use crimp connectors on the flasher bulb or solder it in there?

Not that it matters but what color/brand/type RTV adhesive did you use?

There are 6 sets of these left. I'm going to be incognito after May 17th so if anyone wants these, let me know - soon. Whatever remains I think I'll put up on Ebay sometime in early June.

Someone had posted pictures of these installed further up in the thread:

There is a tutorial on installing sidemarkers in a SAAB, we wouldn't need to carve a hole but the wiring would have the same issues.
http://gonzo777.home.insightbb.com/diy/ ... rsdiy.html

It sure would be nice if someone could post pictures with a wiring job that they've done in the past with sealant.
